Our work

Research

Overview
Our research through CARRD, Inc. is concerned with three areas: etiology, identification and remediation. Etiology research aims to discover the mechanisms responsible for poor phonological processing abilities that lead to reading difficulties. Identification research is responsible for determining the best means to identify children at risk for reading difficulties. Remediation research focuses on finding the most appropriate intervention strategies to prevent reading difficulties and remediate the deficient phonological processing skills in children at risk for reading difficulties.

Technical Information
This section provides further reading regarding the technical information associated with the identification techniques and the training paradigm used by the CARRD, Inc.
